Solr is an open source enterprise search server based on the Lucene Java search library, with XML/HTTP and JSON APIs, hit highlighting, faceted search, caching, replication, a web administration interface and many more features. It runs in a Java servlet container such as Tomcat.
This looks really good and should make getting up and running on EC2 much easier.
This is a much better widget (I think).

On To Tumblr
Thinking of using a combination of Tumblr and FriendFeed as a twitter alternative. It lacks many followers, but probably gives me a better platform to share information.
In addition, I really like Tumblr. :)
